Colin Parnell And Boo Reunion

Colin Parnell and Bülent "Boo" Mehmet, the original "Jazzifunk Club" Horseshoe/Electric Ballroom DJs were reunited in a Jazz Room after 29 years since leaving the Ballroom in 1982, for a very special occasion.

The legendary Colin Parnell and Boo were reunited in a Jazz Room for the first time in nearly 30 years. This historic occasion hosted by Seymour Nurse took place on
January 16th, 2011 at the "Shiftless Shuffle" session run by Perry Louis of Jazzcotech. Many original dancers from The Horseshoe and Electric Ballroom as well as new ones from various countries attended what was regarded as a Coronation in Jazz Fusion Dance Movement history. The one and only Milton "The Ballroom King" McAlpine aka "Milly The Kid" graced us with his presence on this momentous evening, as well as Gary Nurse and Mark from IDJ. This was a very significant and emotional event as the history of our Jazz Fusion Dance Movement was truly acknowledged.
